Looking for best mount for Burris FastFire III to be attached at the stripper clip rail/guide of M1A SOCOM 16.

Sounds like a simple job for drill and tap.
FastFire IIIs are working fine on my 10-22 and MKII Rugers.
I think you would have to be very careful how you set the rifle down so you don't mash the little bugger.

Thanks for the "be careful" tip. The stripper clip guide just seems like a great location for a mini red dot.
