I don't have the Mossberg infront of me right now, but as I recall the trigger group has a lot of plastic, I do remember the guard is plastic. One problem with the Mossberg. You can't have a heat shield with ghost ring sights. Shooting a tactical course with one reload in the middle heats up the barrel quite a bit. If I were carrying this into combat I would want something with a heat shield, but I bought this for fun on a range. After my turn on the range I can set it down and let it cool.Quad69 said:
