I'm chokin' on the smoke, but not in danger.

I will be in Montana Sept 19-23. Hope it's cleared up where I will be on the Bitterroot. Lolo Peak fire and some in Idaho still very active.

Thanks for remembering the old Hobo.... It is bad.... Some days worse than others... It's in the back yard, the front yard and both side yards... any breeze will just stir the smoke around in the bowl (Bitterroot Valley). But remember all those guys that are helping... all the publicity goes to those near the fire.... Remember those Chinook mechanics (Stevensville Airport) who are working all night to keep those birds in the air the next day, all those drivers working round the clock to bring stuff to the many different staging areas, the Montana National Guard and to an unknown branch of the military that had an F-18 doing recon at low level over the Bitterroot fire at Lolo...... The fire is expected to burn until it rains or snows...

To the guys in Houston (Ray and the gang) hang in there....
