There's a guy near Joplin, Missouri who I hear is excellent. They do carbine courses, long range courses, pistol courses, etc. A gun shop I frequent in Joplin highly recommends him. His name is Grant Lavelle. I plan to do one of his courses in the future. See link below.

You can join the Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club. About 20 min south of St Louis. We offer classes in basic pistol, basic rifle, basic shotgun, pistol instructor, rifle instructor, and more. We are a NRA gold medal range. We also have competitive shooting, CMP, IDPA, IPSC, skeet, trap, ect.. If your interested in serious long range, try the Benchrest gun club. They have a 1000 yard range.

Benchrest does NOT have a 1000 yard Range, they do have 20 points for firing Mid-Range, and XTC Highpower, 2-3-600 yards, with Pits.
They offer a lot of different Disciplines for all people.
