If they are junk then can anyone point me in the right direction? Finally got a M1a Loaded and need some mags. Don't wanna end up with crappy mags, theres almost nothin worse....

Go to 44Mag.com and stock up on 20rd CMI's. Skip the rest.

"Brand New • Mag Marked "W" • GI Spec."

Dead giveaway !!! Be suspect of any product marked G.I. spec.........G.I. and G.I. spec are two totally different things....these are the infamous fake W marked westinghouse mags.....some even tried to pass em off as winchester's.....
Makes me sick, and mad as hell !!

You are making the correct Move, unless You have the Opportunity to buy Genuine 60s GI Mags, CMI is the ONLY way, consider everything else as Junk!

There's no difference in function. The stainless steel magazine is smooth and shiney. The CMI phosphate coated carbon steel magazine is what Uncle Sugar has bought since 1985 for the M14.
