M1surplus scope rail fit armscor M14?

So I am looking at this mount and it says for Springfield M1A and does not fit M14. My armscor “M14” is semi only. Anyone put this mount on an armscor rifle?

It will fit, but chances are that won’t hold zero and you’d be better off with the iron sites alone. Especially for scope mounts, buy once, cry once.
So the review I read said it held zero and didn’t come loose but maybe he got lucky?

It could work. If it doesn't, after tax you're out $80 and your time. Amazon does have a good return policy, but will you get it sorted within that period? Perhaps.

The skeptical side of me looks at the price, which includes rings, amazon reviewers, (which who knows, are they airsoft larpers, did they get an M1A, get it put on, take it to the range once, and throw it in the safe and then sell it years later), and the fact that the m14 type platform has earned a reputation for being fit-sensitive. I wouldn't bother with it, but that doesn't mean it won't work.

But, in terms of absolute costs, it's not much more to get a Bassett or a Sadlak, which forum members here, many of whom shoot these rifles regularly, have verified work consistently, across many manufacturers of the M14 type rifle.

I have one of these I used for testing different combinations of rings and whatnot. I had it mounted on an Armscorp and it seemed to work if installed with thread locker. Shot it loose the first time out b/c I didn't used thread locker, reinstalled it w/ thread locker and it held 1 MOA. Disclaimer, I did not test it for prolonged use and can't say how it would hold up over time.

If you want to try one of these mounts, I'll let mine go cheap, send me a PM if interested.

So I mounted an Unertl 4X hawk scope and got it sighted in. I used lock tight blue and it didn’t loosen from 13 rounds of M80 ball. It qualifies for CMP high power but each graduation is 1” at 100 yards. That’s maybe too course for 500 yards but it’s not clicks so maybe I can adjust 1/2-1/4 graduation. Anyway, right now I love the combination of lightweight mount, lightweight rings, lightweight scope and I can still use the see through mount for iron sights. Looking for some adjustment caps that were missing from the s ope when I got it at a pawn shop, but I like the used conditions of this scope, looks like it went through a war together with the rifle.
