I have a lead on a synthetic stock from a Springfield M1A, all mounting hardware included.

I have a polytech M1A.

Am I going to have any trouble fitting one into the other?

no you shouldn't have any problem. but you may need to add a shim or stopper to the in side of the stock adjacent to the connector lock to stop it from backing out.

Thanks! Its for $45 and face to face locally. Hard to beat that price from what I see. Do you have any pictures of where I'd need to place the shim?

in side the stock at the area circled . its easy fix just take your time and lay it out right the first time.

IMOP if you mean synthetic polymer i would pass if you mean fiberglass go for it, the new SAI synthetic polymer stocks are crap the flex, you are better off spendind maybe 430 more for a usgi or a earlty SAI fiberglass stock just my
