which of the quality scope mounts for the m1a will be the lowest profile

I'm an "irons kinda guy" myself avenge but I hear a lot about the A.R.M.S. #18 mount and I am sure that someone here with more knowledge than I will chime in before too long.

A.R.M.S. #18 is lowest. Using A.R.M.S. #22L Q.D. rings you can remove the scope in seconds, shoot iron sights and reinstall the scope without losing Zero.
