I was wondering if anyone has attached a PWS FSC30 compensator onto an SAI M1A. How do you go about removing the standard break? Tools necessary? Attaching a new break? Any help or suggestions would help. Thanks.

The appropraite size Allen wrench and a pair of castle nut pliers are all that's required to remove a standard muzzle device from an M1A. Remove the stescrew and unscrew the castle nut, while gently pulling the muzzle device forward (to allow the nut to completely clear the threads).

Get an adapter from Smith Enterprises. Then you just screw whatever compensator you want on.
