Looks like eBay OCR software hasn’t detected it as an M14 stock, as it’s listed as an “M14M1A1” stock. At least that’s my theory.

Usually spacing as “M 1 4 stock” is smart enough to dupe the system. Seems like this method worked too.
There are always several m14 stocks listed. Anyone notice anything odd about this one?

One odd thing is the front swivel has been installed the wrong way, with rivets at the rear instead of the front. Not sure if it has a “molted” style handguard.

Back in the spring of 2020 I bought an early M14 stock (circa 1959-60) for $200 on eBay. It was advertised as an M1 stock as I recall, and the seller might not have known any better given the M1 Garand buttplate. I put a nicer buttplate on it, and had M1Army refinish it.

the stock rear shelf and down to the grip is very thick;; the hand guard is not metal;; and looks to have a marble look to it

Hummm. All I see wrong is as mentioned, reversed upper sling swivel and the mention of a "metal" hand guard..
Anyone have a listing number for it?

Thanks, there is no number on the OP's post.
Thought I might point these out as well.
There are two other stocks, are they overpriced?

Sure there is. There are only 2 words in the post and one of them is the number. ;)

There are always numerous M14 stocks on Ebay. They are usually pretty beaten up.

However, on this one the front sling swivel is installed backwards. It appears to be original. Anyone have any input on such?

Kurt, I promise you. It only says item, no number that is visible to the eye. Now.

I took a picture of it to prove it and guess what? The number shows very faintly when I take a pic of it. Here is the pic.

So how did item show up so easily but the number very faint and not in white?? Gremlins?? WTH? Stop messing with me man!!:p

It might have some something to do with your display settings. It looks like you are in "night" mode.

Thats what I was thinking too, but why does item show up white and the number in the dark? And yes I am in dark mode because its too bright otherwise.

Might have something to do with "font" selections.

For the record, I did better in the last century. :p

In the one pic it almost appears to have a bit of perch belly. Maybe just the angle of the pic.
Well, seems to be fairly popular with 49 bids and $520.00 so far.

What makes this a $520.00 Stock?
