On RESTREPO on NATGEO channel tonite. Soldiers in Afghanistan outpost had an M14. just got a quick look on at the 39 minute mark. Telescoping stock on a bipod. couldn't tell what kind of scope.

Found this on DVD already in TARGET store. National Geographic documentary about 15 Soldiers in outpost in Afghanistan. Named after their medic that was killed first day there.

I saw this Doc. Very good. Doesn't show much firefights though, more about the soldiers and the emotional impact.

i watched it as well, and now have the movie. i wish there was more combat scene though.
