Here are some pics of my M14 RAS rail adapter system,done with URL's to save space
This first one shows the RAS,it replaces the upper handguard,there is a replacment hand guard clip that is threaded,as well as a spacer

#2 shows the attachment point that goes into the receiver,where you would attach a scope mount,there are some shims included

#3 shows the stripper clip slot ,notice it now has a sort picintinnay rail for the rear ring of your scope

Overall the fit is tight and VERY solid
