I just watched this documentary the other night.

Check it out, 34 min through you see a Soldier with the infamous M14 EBR!

The documentary itself is very good!!!

Restrepo is a 2010 documentary film directed by American journalist Sebastian Junger and British photographer Tim Hetherington. The film explores the year that Junger and Hetherington spent in Afghanistan on assignment for Vanity Fair, embedded with the Second Platoon, B Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (airborne) of the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team in the Korangal valley. The 2nd Platoon is depicted defending an outpost (OP) named OP Restrepo, for PFC Juan S. Restrepo, a platoon medic who was killed earlier in the campaign.

Whatched it yesterday on Netflix. Have to take my hat off to those troopers they really had a tough assignment in the valley. Love that belt fed 40mm grenade gun does anyone know the name of the big box looking unit the soldier was spotting through? We had something similar in Honduras but ours was IR and we could see everything in the valley that had a pulse. RIP to all the soldiers that didn't make it out of the valley. Bet they tossed a few back when they got back to Italy.
