THIS THREAD IS NOW IN A STATUS OF "SOLD"/ACCOUNTED FOR. WITHIN 24 HOURS, ALL ITEMS NOT SPOKEN FOR AND DETAILED IN THESE FORUMS WILL NO LONGER BE ON HAND OR AVAILABLE. I AM HOLDING RODS DISCUSSED HERE, INI THE OPEN, FOR THE CUSTOMERS IN QUESTION, INCLUDING THE WINCHESTER M14 ROD. BUT ALL SALES ARE OR WILL BE CONCLUDED, AND INFORMATION HERE IS FOR DOCUMENTARY/INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. NOTE THAT PRICES ARE IN CLEAR LANGUAGE, AND SHIPPING IS/WAS SPECIFIED.

THANK YOU.

ALL ITEMS HERE ARE EFFECTIVELY SOLD OR OTHERWISE SETTLED.

NOTE THAT TRANSACTIONS HERE ARE COMPLETE. SCROLL DOWN IF DOCUMENTATION OR REFERENCE IS REQUIRED.

I AM TRYING TO MARK THIS WHOLE THREAD "SOLD" AND AM NOT SURE HOW TO MAKE IT, THEREFORE, INACTIVE.

These items will ALL be withdrawn from sale, close of business, 4/30/2017.

I am trying to figure out how to mark this all "sold" or "no longer available", but cannot guarantee my dexterity.

Again: THESE ITEMS LEAVE THE MARKET 4/30/2017.

NOTE: JUST LOCATED A WINCHESTER OPERATING ROD, NEW, SAME BATCH OF STUFF, THAT I DID NOT EVEN KNOW I HAD. IT IS ALMOST THE SAME CONDITION AS THE OTHERS. I WILL PLACE ANY PHOTOS OF IT IN THE SAME COLLECTION, CLEARLY IDENTIFIED, AND THEN RE-PACK IT IN PETROLEUM JELLY.

SEE BELOW.

ALSO DISCOVERED SOME ITEMS FOR THE ERRONEOUSLY DESCRIBED "TANKER" M1 (actually, the gun never had anything to do with armor, and was never adopted or issued) likewise described below. If these aren't sold here, they'll be on auction sites by 5-1-2017 or so.

The photos in this box are of the Winchester rod.

Have two NEW/unused M14 operating rods, Harrington & Richardson, part # 7267064 HRA. (NOTE: There are several photos here , many more on the flickr.com collection to which links are given....which changes NOTHING!! They're NEW. Period.) $250.00. Add $14.00 shipping for one, if you want both, make shipping/handling/insurance $17.50. These have never been on a receiver, so there's not much to see, but if someone insists, I can photograph them.

Also have quite a few nice condition original mags for the CZ52 interim rifle in its original 7.62x45 configuration. These have been cleaned out internally and checked for feed function, spring tension checked. I think I have TEN.

$72.00 each and I'll ship out of that. If you want multiples, figure $67 per magazine and about $5.00 each SHI for the first one, and the remainder we'll figure from there. If you want all ten, I'll cut shipping to the bone or remove it entirely, depending upon where you are.

I can photograph these, but again: not much to see, they ARE way better than average.

Best to e-mail me, but I do try to check private messages here if/when I can.

E-mail works off the message menu.

Wow!!!

I don't think these will be available much longer.

I see no "drain", but the photos are available.

Suit yourself.

If interested, e-mail works FAR better than PM's.

Thanks.

details, details, details and photos

New shots are on the flickr.com site effective 9 P.M. 4/21/2017.

Please note: These are UNUSED.

On all purchases, please be sure a crisp, clear copy of the address is in the envelope, and also, a snippet or reminder what you're purchasing.

At 70, I am basically disposing of everything I won't be using in the next few months.

Again: If you view the shots on flickr.com, you can enlarge as you wish if/when signed in. Tabs were measured on the G.I. fixture before I even packed the car. And there were TWO detailed tab shots in the original flickr.com package, anyway, when I posted this.

These are NEW and at optimum.

Also: If you want to communicate effectively, e-mail is VASTLY superior. This site does not function well with my old XP system, and loading photos here is very "iffy". Moreover, quality is hundreds of times superior off flickr.com.

You can sign in with any Yahoo i.d.

The full size files are now on flickr.com.

Bear in mind, these were in grease until a few days ago, and will be shipped out in a light coat of commercial petroleum jelly. Rub it off, don't use solvents!!!

Much better to view on the site and use the tools for magnification and so on. There are seven new images, all of the tab area, at ratios from 1:1.5 up.

I tried to include my CLG or micrometer, but it just fell away, and I have only two hands.

Thing is, these are in that very dark finish that hasn't been tampered with, and show no signs of use, even installation.

It looks as if both are spoken for.

But I have affirmation on only ONE so far effect 8:23 Central Time 4/21/2017. And NO, I do not even intend to try to distinguish one from the other. They're identical.

These are now, apparently, spoken for, and I am re-coating these with petroleum jelly and pre-packaging.

In the remote event payment is not forthcoming, will re-activate availability.

Thanks.

some shots of the Winchester operating rod

Just stumbled across another near "newby" I thought might be Chinese. It isn't. From the same stash of stuff.

It's WINCHESTER. This one has the aperture up front. 66118 below part number. It's new, measures just like the other two. The center "aperture" is depicted in the photography.

$309.00. $16.00 expedited SHI.

Have also a T26 M1 Garand rod, probably Arlington Ord (Fed Ord started calling these "Tankers", which is a lie, but if you prefer, use that terminology!!) .530" oversized piston, run checked. $155. $13 SHI. Taken down from a 35382 SA postwar replacement.

Have two T26 (yes, same stuff, for the falsely titled "Tanker" M1) 18" barrels, one a Beretta by Breda in .30 U.S. M1906, the other a "both ends" cut G.I. unit (postwar) in 7.62x51 NATO/.308. It's tight chambered, so more correct to call it ".308". $169 a pop. $16 SHI, if you order both, $20.00 shipped together.

The Winchester operating rod is NEW, again, and will be back in petroleum jelly by c.o.b. today. Will gauge barrels in detail (I did when I unpacked them) later if anyone is interested.

None of this stuff ever had anything to do with the crackpots/scoundrels at FED ORD, by the way. I won't buy or sell anything they ever touched any more.

More shots of the Winchester rod are herein. Weirdly, I degreased it, and every bit of lint here stuck to it, and I had to alternatively moisten it with oil and burnish it with rubbed aluminum foil to get meaningful images.

Now, it's back in petroleum jelly and plastic wrap. Now I am pretty sure I did the scuffing myself with the aluminum foil visibility burnish. Duh.

I'm not degreasing it to re-photograph. There IS a tab closeup, a painfully tight one.

Please don't forget SHI...!!!!

Please don't forget the shipping. Zinged some stuff off this morning wherein the purchaser forgot, but in future, if no shipping is included, items will NOT be shipped.

Shipping/handling/insurance is NOT free!!!

Nor are packing materials.

Mixup: I got a check for a third H&R operating rod. Actually, it's a postal money order. I DO NOT HAVE A THIRD ONE!! It will be returned.

Apparently some communication was unclear.

Apologies.
