I came across a box of this ammo and it seems to be in great condition for its age. Is it good stuff to shoot and what might it be worth..

Thanks

If it's 1944 it will be corrosive primed, so if you use it, be sure to spray everything down well with windex first, rinse with water, then clean with solvent/oil as usual.

Truthfully I'd sell it to a collector rather than use it in a gas gun.

From what I have learned, no US manufactured M-1 Carbine ammo was ever corrosive.

I just read it is NOT corrosive ammo. I posted the ammo for sale. There is 750 rounds in the lot 600 boxed and 150 in bags loose.

WWWdotAMMOGARANDdotCOM is getting $35. a box for it.

+1!
The only Corrosive Carbine Ammo that I have seen is the French and the Counterfeit Chinese Ammo Headstamped LC 52!
BTW I still have some 1943 and 44 Carbine Ammo and it still shoots fine!
