M1 Carbine 30cal Ammo from CMP Discontinued
I got this email the other day from CMP about the sale of Carbine Ammo:
CARBINE AMMO SALES TO INDIVIDUALS DISCONTINUED (ITEM # 411): The CMP has
depleted the inventory of surplus carbine ammo to a point where we can
no longer support sale to individuals. We will process orders already
received, but cannot accept any new orders. A small quantity remains
available to support CMP affiliated organizations. There are no
additional quantities available from the U.S. Army. We are coordinating
with ammunition manufacturers and expect to have commercial carbine ammo
available sometime next year to support marksmanship activities and
individual sales.
