I took my new LRB with all GI parts to the range this AM and I encountered a problem.

Upon stripping of the last round in the mag, the round just pops out of the mag feed lips and the round becomes stuck between the receiver and bolt.

I don't know if this is a mag issue. The mags are new and I bought them from Brian at Battlerifles. I only had the one with me.

Any help would be appreciated. Other than this issue the rifle shot well!

One other thing, where is the brass typically piled after ejection. Mine threw brass only like 3' forwardand to the right.

I am hoping its a simple mag problem and nothing else... if only you had another mag to compare with...

Other than that, sounds like your LRB is a shooter. :lol:

Rick, make sure the mags is firmly seated and hopefull you are using USGI mags my old M1A wouldnt feed with an aftermarket mag sometimes..Tim

The mags are Winchester Mags...Stamped with the "W" on the back side of the mag...

If your cases are ejecting three feet about 2 o'clock from the receiver that sounds normal.

Was on the phone with my buddy Ranger11B2P and he thought that maybe the spring in the mag has lost tension and may need to be replaced. if it was an issue with the wings of the mag, it should be happeneing a lot more than just the last round.

Good point. Also, if the mag follower does not move all the way up where it would be causing pressure against the mag lip and cartridge, would it cause it to pop out also??
