About two weeks ago I was talking to Gil (Glock Armorer) and he told me a customer had ordered a TRW barreled LRB from Lou. I just finished building a LRB Bush rifle and was not planning to start another project until the end of the year. However I had been on a quest to find a TRW barrel with little luck. Every one I've seen on Ebay has been up around $300.00 plus  .

Not wanting to miss the chance I called Lou at LRB. He had two TRWs and an SAK barreled action all with the new numbering. I was looking for a TRW but the news of the SAK was causing me to be swayed from my mission :-? . Since I has previously sold a friend my SAK op rod and all my parts on hand are TRW I opted for the TRW. At $909.00 shipped for a new TRW barreled action complete with TRW complete bolt (Fulton's bolt is stripped and barrel is not chrome lined, unless you caught up another $50.00) I couldn't let it get away  .

Today I picked it up from my FFL (Gil) and it's everything Lou said it was Photos here. The barrel gauges new on both ends and the new numbering for the S/N is very clean. Now it's off to Smith Enterprise as soon as I have all the small parts together  . This is my last one!

Srgt.Maze; Good build with the Bush. Great to hear of the success with LRB and their Bbl'ed actions.
Note:It is my opinion that LRB has passed the 'supplier' test with flying colors. LRB delivers period.

Range report.

Thanks Guys,
I'm waiting for a gas system and sight assy from Ted Brown. Then I will ship it to Smith Enterprise and hope they don't have much of a back log.

Congratulations MsgtMaze !!

This is my last one!
Gee, that's what I said after the "first" one.

I had a chance to see those "new" marked receivers at LRBs table at the Shot Show as well as the new receiver with the forged in place scope mounts. Also got to meet Lou. It was a real pleasure to talk to him in person. I must say that the new stamped numbers look more original and cleaner, and look more like the way they are supposed to (USGI) than the dot stippled numbers like on mine. But, either way, nothing beats an LRB receiver - period.

Bill at Smith Enterprises will do you right !!!

Thanks I guess I did take a big risk jumping in head first into somthing I had no idea what I was getting. But what is life with out a few risks. To side with caution too much the great deals end up passing you by
And as for Lou cutting me a check  He probably thinks I still owe him for stealing that #1 receiver
