LR308 what do you think

I ordered a LR308 before I left Ga. coming to AK, My dad ended up picking the rifle up and its just been sitting at his house, its the 20" and looks like an A3 (don't remember what they called it). I havent shot it and with a 7.62 build coming I am thinking the CETME and maybe the LR308 should go to make room. I have 2 safes at my dads, both full, and a safe here that is full, and I have some 03a3s coming and another M14 build is sure to come fast..
The Cetme is definate gonner, I haven't shot the LR308 and I bought a bunch of mags for it, what are your impressions of the rifle. Is it a keeper or not??

Had one brand new from Cabela's for approx 3 months and never could get it to feed reliably. Accuracy was on par with the M1a and about what can be expected with a battle rifle. I tossed mine for a 300 win mag and never looked back!

I've owned one for about two years. It's a 24" barreled A3. Great rifle, and accurate. It's a keeper.

My wife got rid of a M700 .300 mag because we could never got it to "shoot", about 1.5 MOA is the best it would do with multiple loads. Got her an LR-10 and it's a shooter! We've had some trouble finding good mags, the 2 it came with, one fed fine, the other would not. Tweaked and tweaked, just would not feed. Bought 2 more, same story, one worked great, the other would not. Other than that, we love it. It really likes 165gr Corelokts...O.L.

Use PMAGs. They have never failed me in combat or training.
