It's about an hour and a half from where you are, but the Chestnut Mountain WMA shooting range is $5 all day. I don't live there any more, but my wife and I used to go there all the time. You may want to check to see if the forestry service has any other WMA shooting ranges closer to you.

It's just a little longer trip John but you could go about 2000 miles northwest and use the public range I go to.

Jeeze John, I just looked up the cost on the Macalan 25, sorry bud, I like ya but not that much. Hell, two bottles of that stuff would pay off my Canam 4 wheeler.
