I was browsing on EBAY and I saw this Krieger Medium Weight Barrel. It's advertised as a special run item for the Gov't for Afghanistan. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it...

Probably the same stainless steel NM barrel that Springfield offers. They're good barrels.

I'm sure Kreiger, Douglas, Hart and others are making all sorts of barrels for the military.

Springfield doesn't sell Krieger barrels except on special orders.

Krieger barrels are 1-10 4 groove, not 1-12 6 groove.

They do sell Douglas CM barrels and was selling Hart SS barrels.
The pkg deal rifle with SS barrels are from Wilson blanks.
