I am planning on putting Kreiger barrel on my DMR build. The ad states one cant buy a medium barrel from Kreiger. Why not what is so special about this barrel that they wont sell one to me if I called or is this guy wrong. By the way what is the heaviest barrel one can put on a M14?
Krieger Medium Weight Barrel... On EBAY. Opinions Please...
I was browsing on EBAY and I saw this Krieger Medium Weight Barrel. It's advertised as a special run item for the Gov't for Afghanistan. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it...

A Heavy weight barrel is the heaviest of the bunch. it's about 2lbs heavier than a standard profile bbl.
Krieger made a limited run of the medium weight barrels for a government contract and have no future plans of making more. The double cryo treatment used to be an extra option for their barrels but after not seeing an improvement in anything they discontinued offering it. I found this all out when I called Brian at Krieger and inquired about it.
