Understanding that this is the area for edged military knives I thought it possible that someone with Kabar knife knowledge could help me with some information on a fine old folding hunter that I recently scored. It is the standard folding hunter with 4" clip and equal skinning blade. The clip blade is only stamped with the letters K a b a r, the stamping is rather fine and only the K is in caps. The bolsters appear to be either german silver or nickle, there is a lanyard hole. The scales are stag with very fine red line spacers at each end. The scales are also held on by two brass pins at each end and one large steel pin in the center. Any information would be highly appreciated. Thanks
