MUSKEGON PISTOL & RIFLE CLUB
CMP GARAND, SPRINGFIELD, VINTAGE & MOD. MILITARY RIFLE MATCH
DATES: July 10th, 2015

RANGE LOCATION: 5700 Crystal Lake Rd., Holton, MI. Map available at our website

ELIGIBILITY: Any person eligible to compete under CMP rules. You do not
need to be a member of the club or the NRA to participate.
RULES: Match will be run in accordance with CMP rules. NO alibis will be
allowed.
COURSE OF FIRE: The match will be shot utilizing the CMP JCG course “A” of fire
using the standard SR high power rifle target at 200 yards.
RIFLES: As-issued U.S. rifle caliber .30 M1 Garand per CMP rule 6.3.2, as–issued U.S. rifle caliber .30 M1903 series per CMP rule 6.3.3,
Vintage Military Bolt Rifle per CMP rule 6.3.6, M1917 and U.S. Krag rifle per CMP rule 6.3.4. M1A/M14 and AR type rifles are also allowed. Non-compliant CMP rifles will not be allowed.
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 per competitor, MPRC members receive a $5.00 discount. Each additional rifle $10.00.
TIMES: Registration begins at 9:00 am. Firing commences at 10:00 am.
AWARDS: CMP achievement pins will be awarded to those who score high
enough per CMP rules.
ADDITIONAL: Food and Water are not available at the range. Please feel free to
bring your own. ALL competitors are expected to stay for the
entire match to help score and pull targets. Limited quantities of
30/06 ammo will be available for purchase, otherwise please bring your own safe ammo including hand-loads. MPRC has a few Garands and 1 Carbine available for use. Please call ahead to reserve.
Also, since we are close to Perry, anyone that wants to shoot 3 rifles will be allowed to do so. I will also open up the 300 yd range to those who wish to get good zero’s for the Vintage Sniper Match after the completion of the sanctioned match for no additional charge if you shot in the previous match(s).
