This is my first time posting here. I have a question about this setup that I purchased from Springfield Armory in 1999.

I wa told by SA that only 600 were made. Also can anyone tell what it might be worth. I can find any pricing on theses in the Gun Blue Book. I have pictures I can send to help.

I remember when Springfield offered these for sale. They were built on Springfield receivers from IDF M14's that had been demilled. As I recall they came with a scope, bi pod and case. Here is one I found for sale: http://www.southrivergunclub.com/forsale.htm

If you go about 22 paragraphs down on Differents web site http://m14.freeservers.com/about.html You will find mention of Springfield making about 200 of these. Sorry, that's about all I could find. I'm sure someone else remembers them.

I remeber them, but also remember that I couldnt afford one, I remember looking at the SGN advertisement , I'd love to see one in person .
