I have seen about four or five different GI experimental stocks, and this does not look like one of them. If I recall the GI stocks all have molded plastic grips, this is an altered E2 that has been sanded to shape. SA Inc made a folder from surplus E2 stocks, but I do not know if this is one of those.

The shine on the front fore grip looks like the repro. The original GI are dull black and rubber coated not plastic coated as this one appears from the picture.

The hinge also looks like a hinge for a cabinet, purchased in a hardware store.

If you like this, I can get you a deal on a bridge in Brooklyn.....
But seriously, it looks mighty suspicioius .... have you ever seen a military stock with detachable sling swivels like that? Or gloss paint? And check out some of this guys other listings, like his "un-unused" stripped fiberglass stock for $35 -- such a deal!! And a vented hand guard for $20.

A guy I know has one of these (it's missing the front hand grip though).

It seems to just be a cut down E2 stock with a folder added. Nice, but I don't think it started life that way.
