I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I'm not 100% sure what weapon this belongs to so I need some advice.

I "think" this is a Reising M55 stock, but I'm really unsure because most of the metal is missing.

I picked this up a couple days ago, with an ART II scope and another stock that I think is a 1903 "A" stock. Anyway, I'm just looking for any info that I can get on this piece. I do believe that it's in pretty good shape regardless of what it belongs to.

Thanks for any help in advance, and sorry Mods if it's in the wrong section.

Yes I think it is for the Reising, Model 55 [if I remember correctly], the one with the retractable wire stock. I think they called it the Paratroop version.

Years ago a friend of mine had several Reisings he got in a deal with a Police Department.

We shot them quite a bit. They are a lot of fun to shoot.

+1 on the Reising stock. I am sure that there is a Reising owner out there somewhere that would love to have it.

That almost looks like a natural branch section of a tree that someone cut and formed just right to get a pistol-grip shape. Nice!
