I've noticed that a lot of m1a mounts don't come over to the barrel's axis. This brings a lot of baggage when shooting at mixed ranges.

I've got a SA 3rd Gen that's fine but for that. It's off to the left a little.

Is there a mount that gets you on the barrel's axis properly?

The problem isn't so much with the mounts as it is the receivers that are usually out of spec.
