I see you got it apart. The stacking sling swivel was rusted tight when I had it. How did it look under the wood? Can you check the muzzle wear? I dropped a bullet in and it only went to the ogive, so I was wondering if it had been shot much. I see you did find the stock stamp, lots of hands rubbing on it to wear it off like that. Glad you are enjoying your "new" rifle.

Well, the muzzle pretty well swallowed my gauge, reading a 4. No big surprise there. And the rifle looked great below the wood.

I had no problem getting the rifle disassembled, except for getting the rear sight leaf off the base, but that issue I mentioned earlier in this thread.

One forum member requested full length pics of the entire rifle. Not a problem, but the cost of film and developing is getting expensive...GI2

Sarge I didn't know you were using film and processing. I apologize.

This was shot with my little twelve year old Fuji 110.

I don't really use my old camera anymore. I do have a nice, but older digital camera and also a new "smart phone" that takes nice pics and is easy to use.GI1

And nice trio of '03's you have !!!DI2
