Hows About A Jeff Update !!!

Spoke with Jeff the other day......He's not doing the full body glow anymore...just a spot in his throat that registers on the ole geiger counter. He says that he can feel the stuff working. Must be awful wierd. Other than that he's doin fine and we are talking about goin to the Springfield show on sunday if we can get it all worked out.

Excellent Plan! The last time I was at the Halekoa, it was renovated and looked beautiful. I attended a wedding there and roamed the huge garden fronting the beach. Outstanding (very romantic in the evening)! The beach fronting the Halekoa is pristine.
I would strongly recommend a picnic lunch over to my (the Windward) side of the island. Maybe to Bellows AFB. It is not commercial or over crowded and has lily white fine grained sand to sink your "tooties" into. Lots of picnic areas to BBQ and lots of space to lounge around or to go for a walk. If exercise is what you need with your tan, the Kailua Bay (where I live and gee, right next to the Kaneohe Marine Air Base) is the place to go. At least 1 mile of gorgeous white sand beach to walk or swim. The water is always cool to the touch and always calm.
Let me know if you want me to send a pineapple or so as a primer to your vacation. BTW, the guys I worked with at one of my first jobs in the mid seventies were Marines and Viet Nam vets then stationed in Hawaii after their tour. Great guys. We never did discuss the war though. On that issue they didn't say much but were FUN guys!

I spent a whole hour on Hawaii While on the way to Okinawa. Most of the guys on the plane were headed for a tropical vacation in Southeast Asia, so they didn't want anyone going off on there own. They kept us all inside the terminal hallway while they fueled the plane. Then off to Okinawa we went.

Hawk,
I spent a few hours in Hawaii on my way home from, "The Rock", Okinawa, July 69. Something broke on the plane and they had to fix it. Like you, we were not able to leave the airport and were in fact confined to a small area of the airport.

You really should take Tom up on his offer Jeff ... He sent me some of them Hawaiian Macademia Nut Cookies that were absolutely "out of this world" ....
