Hello m14 forum, I just received my new m1a socom ii with sage's ebr chassis and I am getting ready to zero my rifle. The m14 I shot in the army ranges came with the proper zero-ing targets for the m14, and it was also a 22" barrel.

I needed some help, suggestions, and targets (electronic copies) for zeroing a 16" barrel m1A. I have been hearing that there is quite a difference. Just like when the army switched over to the m4, the zeroing targets were same layout but completely differently on the MOA/click or shift in windage/elevation.

Some straight forward questions are, should we still try to zero at 25 yds?

When should I alter the FS?

Any tips, suggestions, so forth

Thanks

I hate to say this and please don't take it the wrong way.

Make sure it is clean & greased.

Get some good ammo.

Find something that you don't mind getting holes in.

Go to the range.

Get some time on the trigger.

It's an EBR.

See what happens.

Let us know how it works out for you.

LOL i know that much.

I was more focused on the windage, elevation, click MOA, and if anyone had any .pdf or images for paper targets specific for m1a zeroing.

I use my web browser and search on free targets.

There are a ton of them out there. I use them all the time. I just print them out, staple on some cardboard, hangem up & shootem.

Glad you took no offense to my post.

EBR = Fun.
