When the groups open up. Maybe 5000 rounds. You often cannot tell they open up unless shooting at distance.
No it is not CorosiveHow do I know which ammo has corrosive-primers? I use the American Eagle Brand 7.62x51 ammo (Labeled "For M1A"). Is that corrisive-primer ammo?
Thanks,

S&B and some KA marked Korean(?) come to mind. Otherwise, 7.62 milsurp from the late '50's forward should be non-corrosive.How do I know which ammo has corrosive-primers? I use the American Eagle Brand 7.62x51 ammo (Labeled "For M1A"). Is that corrisive-primer ammo?

-What can you tell us about Stainless Steel barrels? The Scout rifle is not a target rifle so acceptable accuracy could run upwards of 9000 rounds.
Match grade rifles tend to have peak accuracy to about 6000 rounds but will still have reasonable accuracy (not match accuracy) to about 9000 rounds.
Chrome lined barrels will usually shoot well for a good 3000 rounds more.
Acceptable accuracy depends on your needs and expectations.
