brother sixty:
took my bood test on tuesday.
the doc called me this afternoon at work at the faa, and she said i was in good shape as per the test readouts and to keep her posted on how i feel.
she said 4 to 6 more weeks before i crash and burn she also said to take another blood test earlier if symptoms arise, that i should flag the doc asap.
then after she looks at the next bloodtest readouts to get my butt in to the office and get my first pill.
then its play with the adjustments until its right.
i feel ok so far. my neck was tender since this treatment, that radiation kicks butt fast.
my lovely wife forgot and gave me a hug around the neck the other day before she realized she hurt me.
those dam things are sensitive and the swelling is going down on my neck. love those pictures of my old horse. jeff

Hey Jeff ....

Don't know whether you caught it today or not but on the History Channel they had a special on the Ia Drang Valley combat but the main focus was on the UH-1 .....

Damn good documentary if I do say so myself.

If I can ever catch it again I am gonna tape that baby ...

Jeff:

Last night I saw a special on the History channel as well talking about helicopters and featured battle choppers. Of course, they did a section on Huey's in Viet Nam. I wonder if this is the same program that Six was mentioning.

been busy all week trying to get things done around here and at my motherinlaws have not had time to look at the computer.
i have to go pick up my boy at newark airport this afternoon he gets in a 3 pm today.
he just finished his level 7 school at shephard field texas and is coming home on leave for 3 weeks then back to england where he is stationed and then off to the sandbox for another short tour filling up big jets gas tanks.
i did not see that program yet but hopefully they will run it today or tommorrow on the history channel. hueys are great over 30 years working on those clunkers, mostv reliable flying machine ever built. black hawks suck cant hold a candle to the old war horse. jeff

Rode on one once..down on the ice (McMurdo Station Antarctica). I think they called it a UH-1N .. don't know what the N designation stood for.

Anything they brought down to the ice was considered the sturdiest.
