I bought my first M1A, the SOCOM 16 and loved it. I quickly got a Scout and Loaded as soon as I could find them in stock.

I'm currently seeing what I could do to shorten the Scout and see how close I can get it to my SOCOM 16.

Here's a pic of my M1A's pretty much in stock form:


And here is a pic with the the Scout having a gas block sight and a Good Iron muzzle brake:

Note, the Scout didn't have the jam nut on at the time. (test fitting)

I look forward to learning a lot from you guys!

Great decision in registering here and most definite you came to the correct place to learn more about the M14 Battlerifle and military surplus ammunition for her nutritional dietary needs, welcome on board and enjoy the site and I hope you post often Daverx7.

...always nice to see another Kentuckian in the fold. I am not one, but i sure love your state. For reasons I cannot say on this family friendly forum. Let's just say your ladies are for the most part top of the list.

Welcome aboard from E. Kentucky, Jackson County. You'll find our Commonwealth is very well represented here.
