Does anyone have any experience with the Hesse recivers? I've heard the weapons are crap, but the receiver is OK, Newer ones are better than older ones, etc... Does anyone really know?

Hesse is known for CRAP. Hesse does not stand behind their products and had to change their name (now vulcan arms). On a postiive note, the AK receivers are actually ok, one of the few if only product they made correctly. I wouldn't buy anything of his due to his reputation and customer service.

Hesse changed his name to Vulcan and supposedly the receivers coming from Eubank are made on the old Hesse equipment.

The general opinion on most boards is that the Hesse/Vulcan/Eubank receivers are poor, at best.

You can buy a good quality AK receiver from other sources. Don't mess with something that has no concern for quality. Remember, the receiver is the most key part of the rifle. If its wrong, the gun will never be right.
