Somebody, who has a voice that mainstream media can hear, needs to paint that picture in terms of what it really means.Yes Sir that would be ideal, but I think a lot of people that are casual gun owners that are working hard but not paying attention or don't care about politics hear that aZZhole say he's "for" the 2nd Amendment and believe it, and that's it in their mind and vote Demoncrat "because their Dad did" or the like. Hopefully some will wake up, and hopefully we can wake some up.
We can dream, but I think the majority doesn't care about rights and will support any usurpation(s) that the LSM harps on long and and hard enough. Harping is their business. So much has become mala prohibita that it's common place and not much of a concern. IMO, this is probably pretty common of new gun owners. The fact that they might not be able to get one (above board) in the future is motivation to get one now. Once they got theirs, the future legality is of relatively little concern. The majority just want the nanny state to keep them safe from all threats, real and concocted. If this is true, and Biden does his Democratic Playbook thing and harps on banning what people people in the middle want to have a right to own, and gets slammed in the election, that would not shock me at all.
I think his handlers may tell him to keep that on the down-low.(SNIP)
If Biden runs with Robert Francis O'Rourke loudly promoting a ban on privately owned firearms, then I think some traditionally Democrat voters will flip on this one issue.
