I had free time last night. Decided to load up some rounds on stripper clips. I ordered 10 M14 repack kits. I didn't use all of the bandoliers but I almost used all of the clips and card boards. Loaded a 30 caliber ammo can with loaded 20 round magazines and 3 bandoliers of 60 rounds into another 30 cal ammo can. These will go in storage. I have a few magazines for range time. I for some reason really like stripper clips.

Very nice. I keep a few cans full of loaded clips in bandoleers myself. Learned that way over half a century ago.

It's xm80. I also have some M118LR type that i got from American marksman. I didn't load that up since I don't have enough clips. I'm not particularly fond of it either. Pretty stout stuff.

I am pretty sure the M118 american marksmen was selling is reloads. (Using LC components) not federal or factory LC made M118. If it doesnt come in a factory carton sealed i wont buy it. Got burnt to many times buying loose packed ammo.
Just my opinion.

Yep that's exactly what the American marksman ammo is. In hindsight I wish I hadn't bought it but it is what it is. I've shot 30 rounds and while it kicks pretty good it has been ok.

Fred's m14 stocks.
Jeepers... is he still in business?

I've a a bit of 7.62mm loaded in bandos. I had 2 cases of British RG that came packed that way, and I just reuse them. What's nice is you can also fit a 30rd sleeve of 5.56mm down in there, so I have some of them tasked for that.

I bought a 500 round case of their M80 and my SOCOM shoots it rather well. Not match grade stuff but every shot has gone off and no signs of poor quality control.

For plinking and punching paper, it works.
