Been working on this mostly H&R M14 named the Punisher for awhile now. Added a different stock, SADLAK heavy front rail and Magpul bipod today. Rifle is a solid 2moa as configured using surplus ammo. Meets the qualifications of a real steel range toy. Off hand or prone with the bipod it is a hoot to shoot. New stock afforded the facility to add one of Hawk's ambi kits for authenticity enhancement.

Epsilon 762 VG6 for the moment. I am waiting on modified gas plugs so I can screw on the adapter for an OSS HX-QD Magnum Ti suppressor.

I hadn’t even considered adding a bipod to a M14 wood stock. Looks fun!

Sadlak makes the heavy duty rail for the front. There is a nice strengthening plate that settles down on the inside. I use the model that has the Harris type connection too in addition to the rail. The standard USGI sling swivel goes under the rail and is held in place as a unit by two screws.

I like her Art. The wood stock looks odd with that......I mean that tan Magpul bipod looks odd with that wood stock.

I like the look though.....

Thanks, but in my book, esthetics are near the bottom of the list with functionality at the top.

I hold the Magpul bipod with high regards. Right along with the Harris and the Atlas.
BTW I love the shorty rifles. I'm slowly collecting parts for a build.

Not an Atlas, but it serves it's purpose at a considerable savings without loosing all that much.
