If you boys are past damn tired of the cultmarx broadcast battalion hawking "orange man bad" and Kung-Flu bullxxxt/lies... Direct Teevee is running a Gunsmoke marathon Monday. Look at the names in the link below by episode. Many of them got their start with Gunsmoke parts. NO talent bankrupt hollywood leftist MUTS like now. Mixed in is some rarely aired from the 50's and early 60's. It was John Wayne who pitched James Arness as Matt Dillon to whoever produced Gunsmoke. https://army.togetherweserved.com/army/servlet/tws.webapp.WebApps?cmd=ShadowBoxProfile&type=Person&ID=24013. And he's not the only cast member who served.

Here in Texas-DFW area on DTV ch. 364 (INSPHD). The longest running western in U.S. History. For a good reason 10 Sept. 1955 - 31 March 1975. It was a 3 generation watch in our house growing up. https://www.insp.com/events/the-star-studded-gunsmoke-marathon/

One of my favorite Westerns. We went to Dodge City once.
I can honestly say I walked into the Long Branch Saloon and
had a glass of beer. A little disappointed that Kitty, Doc. etc.
were not there. Maybe next time... :)

Watched most of as we are in shutdown mode in NJ. I am a Bonanza fan now and while growing up even buying a DVD set. I never really member watching Gunsmoke growing up, but have been hooked on it lately and can't get enough of it. My wife however is more hooked on it then me. Even suggesting a trip to Dodge to check it out. Almost feel like I am missing something if I don't get my fix every day. GREAT stuff.
If you watch enough episodes you can catch Festus playing different parts before being Festus.

Be safe
