Been lurking here for a whole week! Learned a boat load about the M1A and purchased one yesterday. I'm just a jaded old fart who wants to have some fun shooting local service rifle matches, but WOW am I impressed with this rifle and it's predecessor, the M1. Looking forward to learning and (someday) sharing with such a great group of people on this forum!GI3

Welcome from MN to the forum and your new purchase. I love CO. from a week long business/vacation trip I made. You can go from mountains and snow to prairie and hot. Lot's of heritage to be found and good people if you wish to explore the side routes.
