I would like to locate a green stock for my M1A Scout rifle. I've searched and failed for the last few weeks.

I'm not looking for anything fancy, just an O.D. Green stock.

I'd be willing to buy new, used, or trade my black stock.

Have you ever considered painting your current stock? I have read several posts across several forums about members doing that kind of thing and being happy with the results.

I have considered Duracoating it, but am looking for a quicker fix at the moment.

Try using Krylon in Flat colors get em at china mart. Colors look great and cheaper that Duracoat. Paint it green comes out great and matched it with a Turner all weather sling in green also.

Did you ever find a green one? I just bought a scout in walnut and would like to get a spare synthetic stock for those days I don't feel like babying it. I dont know if they discontinued the green one but I thought it looked the best. I'd be open to others though if it's not available.
