It is sickening!!! Just cut 'em up or give them away to some third world $hithole! Instead of cutting the full auto tang off the receiver and sell 'em to the people who paid for the god*%^n things! :evil: Stuff like this just pizzes me off so bad I want to scream! If the CMP had 5000 of those rifles and were selling 'em for 750 to 1000 dollars they would sell out in a week! :?

It doesn't make sense. I thought most of those places were into FALs? I wonder if they even make use of them (M14's)...?

I am sure US Law Enforcement could use these better than making them "presents" to someone. And if they should have sold (or gave them away) in '97 they should have gave them the black guns... :wink:

I am sure its just me and NOT understanding Politics... :wink:

Give the guys in the military a choice of carrying one or the other one. Know what my choice would be. As for cutting the selector off, I did not read anything about that written by the founding fathers. We should be like Switzheland and issue a select fire assult weapon and all the ammo you can burn to all citizens. Anyone missuses it,hang them, they would not do so again. They have the lowest crime rate of any contry out there. A armed people are a polite people.
