I got my EBR a new little buddy, because we all know the M14 and 1911 go together like peanut butter and jelly!

Its a Citadel M1911 CS in Cerakote OD Green. My first choice was a Springfield Operator, but ultimately I decided that I wanted something a little smaller so that I could carry it if I wanted to. I expected since Citadel isn't as high end as the other guys I would have a lot of problems with it and that it would take some fine tuning and maybe some new mags to fix the problems I expected to have, but so far I haven't had the first malfunction. I put 3 mags through it right out of the box, no lube, no cleaning, nothing, just as it was and it ran flawlessly. Accuracy could be better (then again maybe it's me, I am by no means an expert pistol marksman, haha) but all I really care about is center mass and it does that.

Also I should mention that it came in a hard case with two mags and two sets of wood Hogue grips. Not bad for $600
