Has anyone used one of these? Looks like a good idea, especially if you need a higher front sight .

I had never seen or heard of these. They would not be legal for Service Rifle Competition, but they could be neat in some cases to use. I would use the M16A2 front sight in it as you then have a square post front sight. You would probably have to cut the threaded portion of the A2 sight down, but it looks like that may be all.
