Hi All…
Thank you site moderators for affording me the opportunity to share my M14 experiences with members on this forum.
Although my background is not one of a military armorer, or machinist…through trial and error I have taught myself just enough to be considered a menace.
Ever since handling that first M14 in March 1968 (courtesy of our Uncle) I knew I had to own one. Applied for an FFL in 1971 and began retailing Springfield Armory M1A’s shortly thereafter. Thought $297.50 was expensive and they would never sell….I was wrong.
As time passed and I became more knowledgeable of the platform, I got the urge to build a better mouse trap. I felt that the M14 receiver design could not be improved upon…but adherence to the blueprint could. During mid 1990’s an opportunity to manufacture genuine forged M14 receivers presented itself…so I jumped at it. Cost was astronomical…thought they would never sell. Again…I was wrong. Thanks to the many members on this forum who supported us, the rest is history.

WECLOME !!!

Lou, after a lot of research on the M14/M1A platform, I chose your M-25 Loaded. With well over 1000 rounds down the tube and not one hic-up, not one. I'm getting ready to order another for my second build. Thank you and your staff for top quality products and customer service.

Glad your on board!!

Carry On !!!

Howdy Lou,
I just spoke to your daughter at the shop and ordered a op rod and black nitride piston. Good customer service.
Someday when my funds allow I'll be sending parts for you to add to your M14SA receiver.
Cheers

I need to peruse the forum more often... Sorry it took so long to notice you now have your own threads Lou. I hope all is going well at SHOT and you can speed up production. I really need those receivers. No one else is making a better M14 receiver than LRB Arms! I've really enjoyed working with you all these years.

Yup our favorite Uncle got me hooked on the m14 back in the 60s in 72 while chocking chicken in Galveston,TX. before heading for France for a 5 year contract picked up 6 m14s for 250 each and as you thought a high price looked over your site and you will hear from me for parts and rifles.
