German Precision Optics?

Have never heard of this brand of riflescope but Cameraland has a Spectra 1-6x24i scope that more or less meets my specs and price ($799.00).

The Vortex Razor is out of my price range. The Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6.24 seems to be a popular option, but heavy and perhaps not the best possible glass?

Application is a 308 AR 16" barrel, short to intermediate range. 1-4x might be good enough.

Any other LVPO suggestions under $950 would be greatly appreciated.

I’m becoming quite fond of Sightron scopes and also Primary Arms Platinum scopes. Not german glass, but both have some great options at an affordable price point.

I think it is usually worth calling Doug at Camera Land in person, regardless. He might be able to hook you up. He's done well by me. Phone calls with modern phone plans are pretty cheap.

I will be putting one of these on my PTR soon.
Get GPO PASSION HD 8.5x50 Hunting Binocular B640, It's around $1,200 range .

Thanks - I missed that one in my hunt. Never saw an illuminated reticle like that before. Might be great but I'd want to try it before buying.

I ended up ordering the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6.24 and will report back after using it some.
I spoke to Doug at length about a LPVO recently and in your price range he recommended Meopta. They offer a 1-6x22 in both FFP and SFP. Believe both were just under $600. IIRC they are European manufacture.

Edited to add: FWIW, found this on country of origin.
