What I have tested...DI5

German, '59, [ MEN ], Berdan, three star crimp with no primer sealant visible.
German, '59, [ MS ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant.
German, '60, [ MS ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant.
German, '69, [ MEN ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant, a 197-6X score.
German, '76, [ DAG ], Boxer, three star crimp with green primer sealant, a 197-8X score.
German, '88, [ MEN ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant.
German, '93, [ DAG ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant, a 200-12X score.
German, '94, [ MEN ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant.

Yes, the DAG is good. Goes bang! Been through about 200 rounds. Have much more in sealed battle packs.

Don't know the head stamp, just that it is German/DAG with a 147grn lead core full copper and nickel (magnetic) jacketed bullet.

i think i just bought some also, mine is marked ab 22 20 patrone 7.62 x 51 dm111 weichkern then their is a circle with a cross in it next to that is a solid circle. on the bottom it reads los men94h0007. it is a brass case but the bullet is silver. i have never seen this before. i just want to make sure this will be good in my m1a. is this the same?

weichkern ("Weichkern" means "soft core")
then their is a circle with a cross in it (NATO symbol)
next to that is a solid circle (NATO symbol for ball ammunition).
on the bottom it reads los (Lot) men94h0007 (MEN 1994 Aug. 7th).
it is a brass case but the bullet is silver (Nickle projectile. cupro-nickel jacket material is non-ferrous metal and safe to use) . i have never seen this before. i just want to make sure this will be good in my m1a. is this the same?
