Gentlemen:

Knowing a bit of Gerald "Hook" Boutin's Military Background from talking with him, I decided to Google him and found this link:

http://www.gpb.org/wwii/gerald-boutin

It is a 45+ minute video shot in 2007, and I found it well worth the effort to watch. For those of you not familiar with Hook, He is a 3 war veteran ( WWII, Korea, Vietnam) AMU Hall of Fame Armorer who was instrumental in the development of the M-21 Sniper Rifle. When it comes to the m14 and Garand, he is the Man. He's worked over my Loaded M1A, bringing up to NM Specs, and tweaked my SOCOM. Amazing.

I thanked him up front for his career serving our country right off the bat when I met him, and this humble man embodies all that is right with those who constantly put them selves in harms way to protect me. He is a national treasure, and a Hero for sure.

Enjoy.

Hummer, how sad but thank you for letting us know about his passing.

Rest in peace old troop.

Given your service to the republic in three wars you've certainly earned it.
