Well I picked up I G20 sf today after wanting one for about a decade. It's a gen 3 with fixed sights. I got a box of SIG ammo with it upon purchase. 180gr FMJ 1250fps 624ft-lbs. I first wanted one of these when hogs became abundant in my area. I took it out in the yard and shot 1 mag through it so far. If your thinking this will replace a 44mag you are wrong, will it replace 357mag IMO yes. Recoil is manageable less than a 4 inch SW 357 for sure. I'm going to be testing differnt ammo over the next few months and possibly a red dot optic not sure about that yet. Anyone that has one of these and could tell me which ammo is the best bang for the buck would be appricieated.

If you're going to play in the 10 millimeter game it's best to reload it. Most of the factory loaded ammo today is just glorified .40 anyway! You're going to want to stay away from Buffalo Bore ammo unless you get an aftermarket Barrel. If you're just looking for plinking ammo I have had great luck with PPU.

This was a deal to good to pass up. I traded a gen 2 G17 for it that I have had since 1998. This 10 was new in the box.

Got the exact same pistol from my neighbor last summer; not a Glock guy - or even a semi-auto guy to be honest, but the 10mm seemed kind of interesting. Thought I'd shoot it a few times and sell it. Until I shot it. I really like the pistol - it has a decent snap (as mentioned, not like a .44 Mag or .357 Mag), but is manageable and seemed accurate enough for me. Scored a good deal on a pile of 165gr and 180gr Underwood ammo, so that's what I've fed it so far. Both of my kids really liked it too, so it won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

One thing that got me was I could make it a 45 acp for about $115. Which I have cases of ammo for. Barrel and a mag is all that's needed.

I have the Glock 40, 20SF and 29SF all in of course 10mm. Underwood is the ammo to get if you go hunting. Reloading, well the 180gr with 10grains of Bluedot. Yes you can load it down to 40S&W which is what some manufacturers seem to do, but just buy a 40S&W then. 10mm is 10mm...................I have KKM match barrels in all of them with fiber optics on the 20 & 29. The 40 is dressed with a Trijicon RMR7 and Fulcrum Trigger as well. I love the 10mm in all aspects. By the way, I watched a video of a snowmobile rider drop a charging bull moose with a Glock 20. The best reason for the Glock 20 is, 15 rounds of punching power in a light weight gun. If the recoil of full house loads will bother you look into a Springco recoil system for it. It makes the 10 into about a 40S&W in felt recoil. Good Choice on a great gun.




The first three rounds I shot with the RMR for zero was a 15 yards at seven o'clock,then I adjusted the sights and started putting them in the 10 ring. All shooting was standing weaver stance. 6inch bulls eye c-more targets.

Recoil doesn't bother me a bit. That's why I got the 10, I'm used to lugging a SW model 29-2 around. I have owned and still own a few other glocks and better sights or a red dot is in the future for this one.

Always been a revolver fan, and my first was a Redhawk .44 Mag. Still have it. Big fan of Ruger revolvers in .357 Mag and .44 Mag. Have a couple of .45s of different manufacturers, but thinking I like the 10mm better.

I'm a revolver fan myself, this 10 is strong as a 357 but holds 16 rounds. Not strong as full house 44mag but again neither your redhawks or my SWs hold 16. Fully loaded I haven't do e the research or actually weighed them, but it feels about like a loaded all steel 1911.

Well I put some rounds though it today. It shoots a little high for my liking but it shoots straight. I will replace rear sight with an adjustable one and try that. The more I play with this pistol the fonder of it I become.

The 10mm is more the equivalent of a .41 magnum. I have shot a Glock 10mm, however, I still prefer my S&W 1006. -Lloyd BEERCHUG1

I got a good deal on this one, never had a 10 before. The SW are very nice pistols with better sights and more heft. What ammo do you prefer in yours?
