It seems like a bunch of hogwash considering I don't know any gun dealers or FFLs that would try to circumvent the 4473 background check or risk their license and jail time. It did however say they want to expand Red Flag anyway they can until the courts slap it down. The Left just keeps pushing...
And this statement sounds like a "feel good" phrase that really doesn't do anything:

"The president will ask the attorney general to develop and implement a plan to prevent former federally licensed firearms dealers whose licenses have been revoked or surrendered from continuing to sell guns."

I suppose it is possible for someone to keep selling with a revoked FFL if it hadn't reached the expiration date, but that seems mighty risky. I suppose the "Plan" might be to somehow alert all distributors that an unexpired license has been revoked. I can't imagine that this is a huge problem, but one never knows. The Form 4473 got restructured a few years ago to put the firearm list up front instead of one page 3. Rumor was that "a bunch of dealers" were tacking on an extra gun or two on the form after customers left and then selling those out the back door. This also seems like a really stupid thing to do since you're going to get caught eventually when one shows up at a crime scene and a trace is done. Amazingly, I heard of a dealer down in Austin, TX, that went to jail for doing it.

Yup. And we need to stand up to this nonsense as soon as it rears it's head. Anyone happen to have Excalibur handy?
But we are standing up. Why do you think we buy so much ammo? WE take these things to the range on regular basis to make sure they are straight.

BAck in the day, they sold targets w/ Dianne Feinstein and Obama pictures on them. Then someone got offended -

This country wouldn’t even stand up against a paper mask and a shot you think they’re going stand up for their guns? LOL that’s funny!

The thing about this is, so an FFL loses, or retires his license and it says they want to prevent him from still selling guns. OK, but as a private citizen he can still sell guns FFL or no FFL, just like everyone else.
This EO is mostly pap for the masses and does little or nothing one way or the other.

Criminals with felony records who attempted to purchase a firearm under disability were rarely charged with a crime under Obama.

If the FFL owns his inventory and takes it home after the business closes. That's personal property......

Plenty of people didn't get the shot, it was a choice. Then you have the people boosted 6 times and driving in a car by themselves with a mask on. There are all kinds.

No, In NJ we were able to sell FTF with proper DOCS. Then was changed. Now it always has to go thru an 01 FFL.
